I grew up the daughter of a John Deere dealer in a rural town of 500 people in Idaho, which instilled in me a deep compassion and curiosity about how weather impacts crops, livestock, and communities.   

I have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources from the University of Idaho.  Over the years, I have worked with various non-profits, most recently in the Home Health and medical sectors.   I am married to Adam Haarberg, a longstanding member of the Jefferson County SWCD.  Alongside our two daughters, we proudly call central Oregon our home for over 20 years.
