Amber joined the SWCD  in 2024 and is working closely with NRCS staff.  She helps private landowners plan, implement and monitor conservation projects.  She works as a part of a larger team that will provide technical assistance on projects such as soil conservation, habitat restoration, irrigation, etc.  In addition, she helps connect landowners with funding opportunities to support  various types of conservation work.  

 She is a native Oregonian and graduated from OSU-Cascades in 2023 with a degree in Natural Resources with a focus on Fish and Wildlife Conservation.   She has work experience with ODFW, Portland General Electric, and the High Desert Museum.
